EUROPEAN DEBATES IN THE SEJM

13 March 2019 - the Sejm held debate, with participation of the Secretary of State in Foreign Affairs Ministry, Konrad Szymański, on the information on the Republic of Poland's participation in the activities of the European Union in July-December 2018 (Austrian Presidency of the Council of European Union) (verbatim record/PL point 5); draft resolution was referred to the Committee.

14-15 March 2019 - the Sejm held the debate on the information presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz on the tasks of the Polish foreign policy in 2019 (verbatim record/PL point 17, verbatim record/PL point 17 (cd.)).

Maritime Economy and Inland Water Transport Committee
  • 12.03.2019, considered information presented by the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, Grzegorz Witkowski, on the new perspective of the European Fisheries Fund 2021-2027 (mtg no.113).
SUBSIDIARITY CHECK IN NATIONAL PARLIAMENTS
According to the information from IPEX database as of 10 April 2019, in March 2019, 14 draft legislative acts were subject to subsidiarity scrutiny. The national parliaments submitted no reasoned opinion on the non-compliance of the scrutinised draft acts with the subsidiarity principle.
