EUROPEAN DEBATES IN THE SEJM
The Sejm adopted Act of 13 June 2019 on regulation of certain matters relating to the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community on the basis of the agreement (paper no. 3469). The text of the Act was transferred to the Senate, see proces legislacyjny ustawy (PL), verbatim record (PL), point 10.

In June 2019 the EU Affairs Committee (SUE) held 5 meetings: no. 265-269. During these meetings the Committee:

  • conducted the first reading of the Government draft act on regulation of certain matters relating to the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union pursuant to Article 50(2) TEU (paper no. 3469) [mtg no. 265],

SUBSIDIARITY CHECK IN NATIONAL PARLIAMENTS

According to the information from IPEX database as of 9 July 2019, in June 2019, 1 draft legislative acts was subject to subsidiarity scrutiny. The national parliaments submitted no reasoned opinion on the non-compliance of the scrutinised draft act with the subsidiarity principle.
