In December 2019 the EU Affairs Committee (SUE) held 2 meetings: no. 3-4. During these meetings the Committee:
- pursuant to Art. 151(1) of the Sejm Standing Orders and Art. 3(2) of the Cooperation Act, considered:
- Council decision amending decision (EU) 2019/274 on the signing, on behalf of the European Union and of the European Atomic Energy Community, of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community (COM(2019) 880) together with the draft position of the Republic of Poland [mtg no. 3],
- the Council of Ministers' information about the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council planned for 9 December 2019 [mtg no. 3],
- the Council of Ministers' information about the meeting of the European Council planned for 12-13 December 2019 [mtg no. 3],
- pursuant to Art. 11(1) of the Cooperation Act, considered the information about the position the Council of Ministers intended to take with regard to draft EU legal acts during the following meetings of the EU Council:
- General Affairs, 10 December – COM(2018) 322 [mtg no. 3],
- Agriculture and Fisheries, 16-17 December – COM(2018) 392, COM(2018) 393, COM(2018) 394, COM(2019) 564 [mtg no. 3],
- considered a draft desideratum on signing the cllimate neutrality plan which goals are to be achieved in 2050 [mtg no. 3],
- according to the proposal of the Committee Bureau, didn't raise any comment to the following EU documents:
- pursuant to Art. 7(4) of the Cooperation Act – to 2 draft legislative acts, to Amending letter no 1 to the draft General Budget 2020 [...] (COM(2019) 487) [mtg no. 3] and to proposal for a regulation of the EP and of the Council amending Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013 as regards financial discipline as from financial year 2021 [...] COM(2019) 580 [mtg no. 4],
