In April the EU Affairs Committee (SUE) held 7 meetings: no. 239–245.

During these meetings the committee:

• scrutinised 20 EU documents,
• held a meeting with Connie Hedegard, commissioner responsible for climate action, to discuss EC report "A Roadmap for moving to a competitive low carbon economy in 2050" and climate conference in Duban (no. 239),
• heard the Council of Ministers' information on economic management strategy in EU (no. 242) and the status of implementation of the Eastern Partnership programme in the context of the functioning of Union for the Mediterranean (no. 244),
• held a discussion on parliamentary scrutiny of EU common foreign, security and defence policy and interparliamentary cooperation in this matter (no. 244),
• held the first reading - together with Agriculture and Rural Development Committee - of the draft resolution on calling the Polish Government to recognize the rural and agricultural issues as a priority direction of the Polish activities in the framework of the Polish Presidency in the second half of 2011 - paper no. 3877 (no. 245).
