In May 2024 the EU Affairs Committee (SUE) held 6 meetings, no. 28-33. During these meetings the Committee:
- pursuant to Art. 7(4) of the Cooperation Act, considered:
- proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child sexual abuse material and replacing Council Framework Decision 2004/68/JHA (recast) (COM(2024) 60) together with the draft position of the Republic of Poland [mtg no. 28],

- report from the Commission: Half-yearly report on the implementation of borrowing, debt management and related lending operations pursuant to Article 12 of Commission Implementing Decision C(2022)9700 1 July 2023 - 31 December 2023 (COM(2024) 93) together with the Government position [mtg no. 28],
- Council of Ministers' information on the Foreign Affairs Council meeting planned for 27 May 2024 and Council of Ministers' information on the Foreign Affairs Council meeting (defence ministers) planned for 28 May 2024 [mtg no. 32],
- Council of Ministers' information on the Foreign Affairs Council meeting (trade ministers) planned for 30 May 2024 [mtg no. 32],

- together with the Administration and Internal Affairs Committee held the first reading of the Government bill on special solutions regarding the preparation and the exercise of the EU Council Presidency by the Republic of Poland in the first half of 2025 (paper no. 3347) [mtg no. 31],
- together with the Digitalisation, Innovation and New Technologies Committee heard the information of the Vice-President of the European Commission Margrethe Vestager on the current agenda, legislation and programmes of the European Union in the scope of competitiveness, digital transformation and economic security [mtg no. 30].

Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry Committee

22.05.2024, discussed the level of implementation and the progress of work of the Ministry of Climate and Environment in the field of forestry, nature protection and hunting for some documents constituting the concept of the EU Green Deal [mtg no. 21].
