In July-August 2024 the EU Affairs Committee (SUE) held 4 meetings, no. 41-44.
During these meetings the Committee:
- pursuant to Art. 7(4) of the Cooperation Act, considered:

- Communication from the Commission: Managing climate risks - protecting people and prosperity (COM(2024) 91) together with the Government position [mtg no. 43],
- pursuant to Art. 151(1) of the Sejm Standing Orders considered:
- proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on improving and enforcing working conditions of trainees and combating regular employment relationships disguised as traineeships ('Traineeships Directive') (COM(2024) 132) [mtg no. 42],
- according to the proposal of the Committee Bureau, didn't raise any comment to the following EU documents:

- considered the report on the Supreme Audit Office activity in 2023 [paper no. 483] in the scope of the SUE activities, and issued the opinion thereon for the State Audit Committee [mtg no. 42],
- pursuant to Article 20(2) and Article 19 of the Cooperation Act, issued an opinion on the candidacy of Piotr Serafin for the position of member of the European Commission for the term 2024-2029 [mtg no. 44]
- complited the composition of its Presidium and appointed a permanent advisor to the Committee.
