In October 2024 the EU Affairs Committee (SUE) held 5 meetings, no. 49–53. During these meetings the Committee:
- pursuant to Art. 7(4) of the Cooperation Act, considered:
- proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing the Ukraine Loan Cooperation Mechanism and providing exceptional macro-financial assistance to Ukraine (COM(2024) 426) together with the draft position of the Republic of Poland [mtg no. 53],
- pursuant to Art. 151(1) of the Sejm Standing Orders and Art. 3(2) of the Cooperation Act, considered:

- report from the Commission to the Council and the European Parliament: 35th Annual Report on the protection of the European Union's financial interests and the fight against fraud – 2023 (COM(2024) 318) together with the Government position [mtg no. 50],
- communication from the Commission: 2024 Rule of Law Report. The rule of law situation in the European Union (COM(2024) 800) together with the Government position [mtg no. 51],
- pursuant to Art. 11(1) of the Cooperation Act, considered information on the position the Council of Ministers intends to take during consideration of draft EU legal acts at the meeting of:
- Justice and Home Affairs Council, 10-11 October 2024 – COM(2022) 209, 454, 495, 666, 667, COM(2023) 582 [mtg no. 50],
- Economic and Financial Affairs Council, 5 November 2024 – COM (2022) 701, 703 [mtg no. 53],
- Environment Council, 14 October 2024 – COM(2021) 762, COM(2022) 542, 748, COM(2023) 512, 584, 698) [mtg no. 51],
- according to the proposal of the Committee Bureau, didn't raise any comment to the following EU documents:
- pursuant to Art. 7(4) of the Cooperation Act – to 1 draft legislative act: COM(2024) 407 [mtg no. 50],
- pursuant to Art. 8(2) of the Cooperation Act – to 16 draft legal acts: COM(2024) 275, 325, 383, 386, 389, 391, 392, 403, 408, 418, 421 [pos. nr 50], COM(2024) 410, 411, 412, 416, 999 [mtg no. 53],
- pursuant to Art. 151(1) of the Standing Orders of the Sejm and Art. 3(2) of the Cooperation Act – to 10 documents: C(2024) 6086, 6087, COM(2024) 390, 400, 402, 404, 405, 550 [mtg no. 50], COM(2024) 413, 415 [mtg no. 53],
- pursuant to Art. 20(2) and Art. 19 of the Cooperation Act, gave its opinion on candidates for members of the European Union Committee of the Regions for the term 2020-2025 [mtg no. 49],
- considered the amendment tabled during the second reading to the committee draft resolution on the Republic of Poland's participation in the activities of the European Union in January–June 2024 (Belgian Presidency of the Council of European Union) (papers no. 616, 651) [mtg no. 50],
- pursuant to Art. 18(4) of the Cooperation Act, considered information on legislative work related to the implementation of directives for which the transposition deadline has already expired or would expire within the next three months (as at 6 September 2024) [mtg no. 50],
- considered the communication from the Commission - Common Implementation Plan for the Pact on Migration and Asylum (COM(2024) 251) and the state of Government work on this document [mtg no. 52],
- examined, in the scope of the SUE competence, the government draft budget act for 2025 (paper no. 687) and adopted an opinion on it for the Public Finances Committee [mtg no. 53].

According to information from IPEX database, as at 6 November 2024, in October 2024 the national parliaments didn't submit any reasoned opinion on the non-compliance of the scrutinised EU draft legislative acts with the subsidiarity principle.
